Praise and worship is a key element in our services.  We enjoy an upbeat mix of praise choruses, worship songs and adaptation of some of the old standards of the church.

Our praise and worship isn't a time for spectators, but rather for participation.  While we have some great singers and musicians on the platform, you - the audience - are our "total choir."

Our Music Ministers

James and Kristy Clendenin are our Ministers of Music.  James and Kristy have been leading praise and worship at Freedom Word since August of 2005.  Natives of West Virginia they have been actively involved in the praise and worship ministry since 1989 in both North Carolina and West Virginia.  James is a 1988 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK.  James has also served as an associate pastor at Word of Faith Assembly in Daniels, West Virginia for over six years, as well as pastor of Jubilee Harvest Church in Beckley, West Virginia for over three years.
